McKenzie Zigmont has been named player of the year. "Congrats to Sr. Pitcher, McKenzie Zigmont #3, for being named Player of The Year. McKenzie pitched wonderfully all season but was even more dominate during the State of Ohio Softball Tournaments from sectionals through the DIII State Championship Game in which she was the winning pitcher. Defeating the reigning State Champions Wheelersburg Pirates 5 - 1. McKenzie only gave up 2 runs through the whole 7 game tournament (a .333 ERA), striking out 52 batters. McKenzie also did a fine job offensively for us through the tournament with a .524 BA. Looking at our 32 - 2 season, McKenzie ended with 21 - 1 record & a 1.201 ERA with 164 strike-outs. Defensively, she ended with a .971 fielding percentage and offensively, a .467 BA on 50 hits, 32 singles, 12 doubles, 3 triples, & 3 homeruns. Way to play Kenzie! We are going to miss you! "
