McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Durant Lions (Durant, OK), 67-56 in a league bout.
With the win, McAlester upgrades its record to 4-15 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Muldrow (Muldrow, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 12. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 15-7. Muldrow won 64-57 in their recent league game against Poteau (Poteau, OK)
With the defeat, Durant moves to 6-15 on the year.
