Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the host Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), saw Sheldon's baseball team achieve victory over Marist by a tally of 10-3.

The Irish now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willamette for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 10. Sheldon will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-3.

Next, the Spartans confront the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Midwestern outing, on Friday, April 12. Marist will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record.

Sheldon defeated Marist today 10-3 in non-league action. Mike Ralston went 5/5 with three doubles and two rbi and David Bellamy was 3/5 with three rbi to pace Sheldon at the plate. Taylor Alie pitched a complete game, scattering seven hits, striking out six and walking just one to get the victory.
