The Irish beat South 9-5 tonight to start Southwest Conference play. Mike Ralston had two hits including a double to lead off the game and Brett Nielsen hit a two run homer as part of his two for four performance to pace the Irish offense. Mitch Lewis pitched four scoreless innings in relief to get the win as the Irish continued their late game heroics coming back from a 5-1 deficit.
