In Saturday's non-league outing, the Adrian Antelopes (Adrian, OR) basketball squad nipped the host Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), by a margin of 42-36.

The Antelopes (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR). The Mustangs go into the 1A High Desert outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Jordan Valley got by Crane (Crane, OR), 54-39, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Joseph for a 1A Old Oregon outing on Friday, January 15. Pine Eagle will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 48-25 league win over Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
