Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR), 80-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pendleton upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Buckaroos host Mountain View (Bend, OR) to play the Cougars in a 5A Intermountain bout on Saturday, February 7. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Mountain View lost 62-50 in their recent league bout against Hermiston (Hermiston, OR)

Next up, the Lava Bears play the Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, OR) in a 5A Intermountain bout, on Saturday, February 7. Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 62-50 league win over Mountain View (Bend, OR).
