The North Eugene Highlanders basketball team (Eugene, OR), dropped 71-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR)
The Eagles now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crater for a 5A Midwestern battle on Wednesday, February 8. Eagle Point will confront a Comets team coming off a 62-38 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Comets record now stands at 11-10.
The Highlanders (0-18) will now prepare for their battle against Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Lancers come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Churchill beat Ashland (Ashland, OR), 79-38, in a league battle.
