The Mountain View Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and held the host North Eugene Highlanders to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 5. Mountain View will confront a Lancers team coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Bend (Bend, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 1-0.
The Highlanders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bend was defeated by Churchill (Eugene, OR), 59-44, in a non-league contest.
