The Sheldon Irish basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting South Eugene Axemen to 46 in the Irish league victory on Tuesday.

The Irish now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Roseburg for a 6A Southwest contest on Friday, January 30. Sheldon will meet a Indians team coming off a 65-51 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR). The Indians record now stands at 2-12.

The Axemen (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen come into the 6A Southwest contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Grants Pass dropped by North Medford (Medford, OR), 52-42, in a league contest.
