The North Eugene Highlanders held off the host Springfield Millers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Highlanders now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willamette for a 5A Midwestern test on Saturday, September 29. North Eugene will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-6.

The Millers (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates enter the 5A Midwestern test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Marshfield held off Marist (Eugene, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
