The Lehighton Indian baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders to 11 in the Indian non-league victory on Monday.

Lehighton got an exciting 12-11 walk-off victory to qualify for the District Playoffs. In a war of attrition, the Indians had a nice lead all game, however, the game got interesting in the final inning. The Tribe took a 4 run lead into the top of the 7th, only to have Catasauqua have the first 6 batters of the inning reach base. The Indians were fortunate to only give up 4 runs, and to have the game tied heading into the bottom of the 7th. In the bottom of the 7th, Lehigton got a leadoff walk, (after a failed sacrifice bunt attempt), then a hit, followed by an error, loaded the bases for Donovan Buchinsky. His RBI fielders choice, gave the Indians the win, and put them at 10-10 on the year, qualifying them for the District Playoffs. To lead the offense, Brody Hydro 4-4, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 Runs; Donovan Buchinsky 2-5, 2B, 4 RBI, 2 Runs.
