Ben Forcier has been named player of the year. "Ben Forcier was selected as the Lakers Player of the Year. Forcier led the team in nearly every offensive statistic. Forcier hit .382 with 9 doubles and 1 Homerun and finished with 15 RBI's while being walked 14 times on the season. Forcier had a OPS of 1.107 and his on base percentage was .507. Forcier also stole a team high 11 bases and scored 22 runs on the year. Forcier played defense as well. He was voted the teams gold glover winner in 2013 and followed up with a .908 fielding percentage this year with 33 assists for the season. Congrats to Ben Forcier on a great career at Mercyhurst Prep."
