Fred Gillespie has been named player of the year. "Senior Fred Gillespie earned player of the year with a solid 2016 season. Gillespie pitched well the entire year and finished with a 2.31 ERA. He allowed just 58 hits in nearly 64 innings. Gillespie also led the Laker offense with a .333 batting average and was first on the team in rbi's. "
