"With a stat line of 15.7 points per game on 61% shooting it's easy to see why Kim Amentler was chosen MMI's, Max Preps "Player of the Year" for 2019-2020. Her accomplishments placed her in the top 3 on the Hazleton Standard Speaker Girls Basketball Scoring list as well as 9th in all of 1A Girls basketball in the state of Pennsylvania. It's no accident that because of her leadership, drive and determination, her team finished 2nd in District 2 and made the school's first ever appearance in the District Championship Game, garnering a Silver Medal The sky's the limit for Kim and her teammates as they look towards 2021 to further their goals of a District Championship and a berth the State Basketball Playoffs. "
