Jack Lorence has been named player of the year. "Jack had an outstanding senior year at Richland High School in terms of hockey. Putting up 52 goals and 37 assists in 38 games, he finished the year with 89 points. Over the course of the season, Jack averaged 1.4 goals per game, 1.0 assists per game, and 2.3 points per game. He did all of this while only putting up 12 penalty minutes all season. Jack was selected for both the PIHL and LMHL All-Star games, as well as being the captain for Richland this season. He also received 12 of the 17 Player of the Game awards this season. Even with all of these incredible achievements, Jack was also a great leader for this team and was a very important part of the team's success this year. Congratulations, Jack Lorence, on the 2023-24 Richland Rams Varsity Hockey Player of the Year."
