Natalie Small has been named player of the year. "Natalie has been a force in the Suburban One League for the past few seasons picking up All-League 1st Team honors the past two seasons, an All-District Honorable Mention and 3rd Team All -District nod this season. She has been a leader in statistics in many categories including 1st in hitting %, 2nd in kills, 2nd in serve %, 3rd in server rating, and 2nd in total blocks. Natalie demonstrates leadership qualities on and off the court as well as being a mentor for younger players. The coaches would often find Natalie taking aside a younger player to encourage them or work on a skill with them that she knew would benefit the team. Natalie was a player that the coaches could respect for feedback both positive and negative. She definitely did her job patrolling the net for us over the past few seasons and she will be greatly missed. The coaching staff is grateful to have had Natalie as a player and is excited to name her the Player of the Year for 2023-24."
