The Barrington Eagles the host West Warwick Wizards baseball team by a tally of 12-7 in Monday's league bout.
The Eagles now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanchez Complex for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 22. Barrington will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-10.
Next, the Wizards face the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a Division II bout, on Wednesday, May 23. West Warwick will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record.







After Mason Provoyeur hit his first career home run, a 366 foot three-run blast in the bottom of the third inning to give West Warwick a 5-3 lead, the Eagles (11-5) came back and scored four runs in the top of the fourth inning to stake claim to a lead (7-6) that they would not relinquish. Cabot Maher (3/4, one double, one home run, two runs scored and four rbi's) hit a three-run home run in the fourth to tie the game up at 6-6. Andy Marra followed with a double and scored on a single by Josh Leadem.
