    Grayson Wheless has been named player of the year. "Senior WR/S and first-year Cavalier, Grayson Wheless, led the team in offensive output this season by beating sophomore, Ryan Smith, by a single yard--maintaining his lead of a single yard going into the final game of the season! Grayson had 571 yards on 31 receptions for just over 18 yards/reception. Wheless also had a team-leading 5 TD receptions. Wheless was named Overall Player of the Game three times and Special Teams Player of the Game once based on his ability to contribute in all phases of the game (e.g. he led the team with 6 interceptions returned for 84 yards). Wheless was ranked 2nd nationally among home school WRs for yardage and 2nd for defenders in interceptions. Grayson plans to attend junior college and transitioning to a four-year program to play ball. "
