In Thursday's league contest, the host Seneca Bobcats basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the Daniel Lions.

The Bobcats (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crescent (Iva, SC). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Crescent was topped by Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 74-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 contest, on Friday, February 7. Daniel will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Devildogs go into the contest with a 5-17 record after their 59-55 league loss to Greer (Greer, SC).
