In Tuesday's league outing, the Daniel Lions (Central, SC) basketball squad nipped the host Walhalla Razorbacks (Walhalla, SC), by a margin of 72-66.

The Lions (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Blue Flame go into the AAAA Region I outing with a 1-17 record. In their last outing, Pickens was tipped by Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 67-42, in a league outing.

The Razorbacks now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palmetto for a AAAA Region I outing on Friday, January 24. Walhalla will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 90-58 league loss to Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-6.
