The Timberland Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hanahan Hawks to 35 in the Wolves league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Manning for a AA Region VII contest on Friday, January 15. Timberland will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 63-50 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, SC). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-5.
The Hawks (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors come into the AA Region VII contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Waccamaw was defeated by Kingstree (Kingstree, SC), 75-56, in a league contest.
