Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), 66-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pendleton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Belton-Honea Path lost 77-62 in their recent non-league bout against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC)

Next up, the Blue Flame play the Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 74-62 non-league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
