Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pendleton upgrades its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to play the Patriots in a AA Region I bout on Tuesday, January 13. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Powdersville lost 62-57 in their recent league bout against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a AA Region I bout, on Tuesday, January 13. Woodruff will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 62-57 league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
