The Brandon Valley Lynx basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Mitchell Kernels to 57 in the Lynx league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lynx now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookings for a AA contest on Friday, January 5. Brandon Valley will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 51-46 league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.
The Kernels (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders enter the AA contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was defeated by Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD), 67-60, in a league contest.
