Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McLaughlin Midgets (McLaughlin, SD), 81-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Braves travel to Custer (Custer, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Custer won 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD)

Next up, the Midgets play the Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 19. McLaughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wambdi go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 75-72 non-league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD).
