The Parkston Trojans basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Gregory Gorillas to 39 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scotland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Parkston will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Ethan (Ethan, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-1.
The Gorillas (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elkton/Lake Benton MN (Elkton, SD). The Elks come into the B District 7 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Elkton/Lake Benton MN was routed by Deubrook (White, SD), 59-51, in a league contest.
