Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD), 64-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Groton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 13. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Roncalli won 60-45 in their recent league bout against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Clark Comets (Clark, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 14. Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
