South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Valley overwhelms Parker
Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) and the visiting Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), saw Sioux Valley's basketball squad trounce Parker by a score of 71-47.
With the victory, Sioux Valley improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Cossacks travel to Deuel (Clear Lake, SD) to play the Cardinals in a A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 10. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Deuel lost 69-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD)
Next up, the Pheasants play the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Bridgewater, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 10. Parker will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Marion (Marion, SD).
