Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Santa Fe Wildcats (Santa Fe, TN), 67-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loretto upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Richland (Lynnville, TN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Richland lost 51-40 in their recent league bout against Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars (Murfreesboro, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 4. Santa Fe will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 21-2 record after their 59-53 league loss to Community (Unionville, TN).
