Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Celeste Devils (Celeste, TX), 70-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Rayburn upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season.

Next up, the Devils play the Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) in a 1A-1 Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, February 12. Celeste will attempt to upgrade on its 5-22 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 43-36 league win over Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX).
