The Palacios Sharks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Edna Cowboys to 42 in the Sharks league victory on Tuesday.

The Sharks now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schulenburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Palacios will battle a Shorthorns team coming off a 46-41 league loss to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 23-8.

The Cowboys (22-13) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Ro-Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 25-5 record. In their last contest, Randolph prevailed over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX), 48-40, in a league contest.
