The Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX), 74-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Crushers (13-14) will now prepare for their test against Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX). The Panthers go into the 1A Region IV District 31 test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Nueces Canyon was trounced by Leakey (Leakey, TX), 59-35, in a league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Medina for a 1A Region IV District 31 test on Friday, February 10. Utopia will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 63-58 league loss to Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-11.
