The Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball crushed the host Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), 73-27 in Friday's league outing.
The Mustangs (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Dawson (Welch, TX). The Dragons go into the 1A-2 Region I District 6 outing with a 6-3 record.
The Longhorns now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grady for a 1A-2 Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 7. Loop will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-62 non-league win over Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
