The Coppell Cowboys routed the visiting Trinity Trojans softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Cowboys (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region I District 7 battle with a 4-3 record.

The Trojans now sport a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Richland for a 6A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, April 21. Trinity will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 3-12.
