The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) and the visiting Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), saw Electra's volleyball squad beat Paradise by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Electra upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX) to play the Bears in a 2A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, September 4. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Gold-Burg lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX)

The Panthers now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Godley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 4. Paradise will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.
