The Payson Lions basketball squad (Payson, UT), was beaten 58-48 in Tuesday's league test with the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT)

The Golden Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Wasps go into the 5A Region 8 test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Wasatch thwarted Park City (Park City, UT), 67-40, in a league test.
