The Wayne Badgers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Piute Thunderbirds to 59 in the Badgers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Badgers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle for a 1A Region 19 contest on Friday, December 15. Wayne will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-41 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

The Thunderbirds (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Water Canyon (Hildale, UT). The Wildcats come into the 1A Region 20 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Water Canyon was defeated by Diamond Ranch Academy (Hurricane, UT), 57-48, in a league contest.
