Taylia Norris has been named player of the year. "In tryouts Taylia finished first in nearly every area. Taylia has always put in the time needed to make herself better and it shows. All of the skills in volleyball she does very well. She hits extremely well from where ever we decide to play her and is so versatile. Not very many girls that are left handed can play on the outside. I felt that where she excelled was being a great team captain, leading by example, doing all of the little things. Taylia has always played her best when we have played the best teams. She sees the block and is able to go around it and has developed so many different hits."
