In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Payson Lions softball team scored a nice 18-7 win over the Orem Tigers.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT) in a 3A Region 12 outing, on Monday, April 8. Payson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wasps enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 4-3 league loss to Carbon (Price, UT).

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain View (Orem, UT). The Bruins enter the 4A Region 8 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Mountain View was routed by Lehi (Lehi, UT), 10-0, in a non-league outing.
