Ben Berky's Bio

My parents put themselves through college and want me to follow suit. I am respectful to my coaches and actively try to learn from them. I am constantly accused of being a "Try Hard," but I often find myself out-performing the people who called me one. I always put the team's goals over my own, and am willing to do whatever is necessary. I began playing football in 9th grade and I put in 110% every time I play. For my senior year, I am honored my teammates voted me to be 1 of 8 team captains. I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am committed to serving a two-year mission preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ after my senior year of high school. My goal is to complete college with a business degree, but I need scholarship money. The best way to do that is by playing the sport I love most; football.
