KIzza Edward has been named player of the year. "Kizza Edward, a true Freshman, a 14 year old burst on the scene in 2013. He led all private school players in Virginia with 37 goals while adding 8 assists. He twice scored 5 goals in a single game against quality opponents, including one in the first round of the VISAA playoffs. His strength on the ball coupled with footwork and sheer ability to put the ball in goal has everyone excited what the future holds for this young man. He was also named player of the year in VIC Conference. A first for any freshman. He was also twice named national player of the week, once from studentsports.com and once from NSCAA."
