Virginia High School Basketball - McLean knocked off by West Springfield
The West Springfield Spartans basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting McLean Highlanders to 30 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 10. West Springfield will battle a Rams team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over South County (Lorton, VA). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the 6A Conference 6 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Langley was defeated by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
