Carrollton's (GA) starting quarterback Julian Lewis was named the 2022 MaxPreps Freshman of the Year after throwing for 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns for the AAAAAAA runner-up. He led the Trojans to their first MaxPreps Top 25 finish as they ended the season ranked at No. 22.
