McKabe Cottrell has been named player of the year. "McKabe is currently hitting .559 on the year. He has 38 hits, with 16 doubles and 6 home runs. He has 52 rbi's on the season, and scored 26 runs and struck out only once on the year. On the mound he is 8-0 with a .894 ERA, and struck out 80 batters in 47 innings and has a WHIP of .638 on the season. McKabe is a do it all player. He gets it done in the batters box and also when he pitches. McKabe will take his talents to Gonzaga University next season."
