Wisconsin High School Basketball - Onalaska knocks off Holmen
In Friday's league contest, the host Onalaska Hilltoppers basketball team scored a good 66-48 win over the Holmen Vikings.
The Hilltoppers (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Sparta (Sparta, WI). The Spartans enter the Mississippi Valley match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Sparta notched a victory over Arcadia (Arcadia, WI), 79-44, in a non-league match.
The Vikings now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tomah for a Mississippi Valley match on Tuesday, January 13. Holmen will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 67-48 league loss to La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-2.
