Wisconsin High School Softball - River Ridge bounces Lancaster
River Ridge Timberwolves (Patch Grove, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lancaster Flying Arrows (Lancaster, WI), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Timberwolves now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fennimore for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. River Ridge will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Lancaster falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Flying arrows travel to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI) to face the Cubans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Cubans enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Cuba City won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Darlington (Darlington, WI)
