The Phillips Loggers topped the host Shell Lake Lakers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Loggers now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spooner for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Phillips will confront a Rails team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Siren (Siren, WI). The Rails record now stands at 4-2.

The Lakers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Grantsburg (Grantsburg, WI). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Grantsburg gained a win over Unity (Balsam Lake, WI), 3-2, in a league test.
