West Virginia High School Basketball - Point Pleasant thwarts Roane County
The Point Pleasant Knights (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball felled the host Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV), 81-68 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Chapmanville (Chapmanville, WV). The Tigers go into the Cardinal test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Chapmanville went down by Scott (Madison, WV), 72-46, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clay County for a Little Kanawha test on Friday, February 6. Roane County will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 63-52 league loss to Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.
