From the early age of 5 I was interested in playing soccer and participated in the sport for the next three years. There was a huge influence on me to try and play softball as my mom and older sisters played when they were younger. I was introduced to softball when I was nine years old and had no interest in playing the game. I had refused to even go to a tryout/practice to even see what the hype was all about.
