Video: Alabama commit DeMarcco Hellams goes off vs. Good Counsel The
2019 Alabama commit did it all in the Stags' win in the WCAC playoffs.
This week's winner of the MaxPreps Polynesian Bowl Player of the Week is
DeMarcco Hellams of
DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.).
The 2019 Alabama commit led the Stags to a 30-14 win over rival Our
Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) to clinch a spot in the WCAC
championship game. Hellams had over 100 yards receiving and two
touchdowns, two interceptions and a blocked punt that resulted in a
safety.
Hellams
and No. 25 DeMatha take on Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) in the WCAC
championship on Sunday — a game featured as one of the MaxPreps
Top 10 Games of the Week.
